Sri Lankan Pride 2026 brought together communities, allies, activists, artists, organizations, and human rights defenders across Sri Lanka through a series of events celebrating diversity, dignity, equality, inclusion, and LGBTIQ+ rights.

The 2026 programme included අභිමන් සලරු | திரை அபிமானம் – Short Films Festival (Colombo), the Sri Lankan Pride Cricket Tournament (Colombo), නුවරඑළිය අභිමන් | நுவரெலியா அபிமானம் – Pride in Nuwara Eliya, the Rainbow Care Mental Health First Aid Handbook Launch, යාල් අභිමන් | யாழ் பெருமிதம் – Jaffna Cultural Pride Bazaar, and the Sri Lankan Pride DJ Party (Colombo). Together, these events used cinema, sport, culture, mental health, community celebration, and social connection to create spaces for visibility, solidarity, awareness, and collective action.
Sri Lankan Pride 2026 celebrated not only the LGBTIQ+ community, but also the many allies and organizations that continue to stand with the community and work towards a safer, more inclusive Sri Lanka for everyone.
